Lily Owens

I am a history of art student in my final year at Christ’s. I like painting, photography and printmaking and am currently a part of Christ’s College Art Collective – running art-related events in college. I have been really drawn to the complex visual world described Milton’s Paradise Lost, and have been inspired by the ways that William Blake and previous artists have approached the depiction of this world. Blake’s Satan, Sin, and Death: Satan Comes to the Gates of Hell comes particularly to mind!
